Fresh bread is one of the simple joys of living: the appetising smell of it baking, then with the loaf fresh out of the oven, the temptation of tearing a hunk off the loaf before it has even had time to cool down. This recipe is very easy for children to make as long as they are supervised whilst in the kitchen.

Ingredients:

6oz/175g of Plain Flour

4oz/100g of Butter

3oz/75g of Light Brown Sugar (or caster sugar to vary the recipe)

2oz/50g of Cocoa Powder

Pre-heat oven to 160°c/325°f/Gas 3
